Sie ist wieder da: Die Tiefen-Competition im Steinbruchsee Wildschütz. Auf bis zu 70 Metern Tiefe zeigen Profis und Newcomer hier ihr Können.  Die Competition richtet sich an Athleten aller Level, du kannst auch mit 20 Metern deine ersten Erfahrungen in Tieftauch-Wettbewerben sammeln.

Main Judge der Veranstaltung ist Ute Gessmann. Wir bieten die Disziplinen CWT, CWTB, FIM und CNF an. Es besteht freie Auswahl von zwei Disziplinen. Es gibt ein Overall-Ranking und ein Overall-Ranking für Newcomer. Unterschiedliche Disziplinen werden unterschiedlich gewichtet.

Kannst du auf dem Deep 70 Rekorde tauchen? Ja, drei Süßwasserrekorde liegen noch unter 70 Metern Tiefe – und sogar ein regulärer Rekord. Welche das sind? Finde es auf unserer Liste der deutschen Rekorde heraus.

Ab sofort können sich Mitglieder von AIDA Deutschland e.V. oder eines anderen AIDA Nationals über die Event-Page von AIDA International anmelden. Mit der Anmeldung und Überweisung der Startgebühr akzeptierst du die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen für Tiefenwettkämpfe.

Deine Anmeldung ist erst gültig, wenn du bei AIDA International alle erforderlichen Dokumente eingereicht und die Startgebühr auf unser Konto überwiesen hast.

Es gibt 32 Startplätze pro Tag. Bei der Anmeldung wird der Zeitpunkt der vollständigen Anmeldung berücksichtigt.

Teilnahmegebühren

Die Kursgebühr für AIDA Deep 70 beträgt für Frühbucher bis zum 12. Juli 2025 160 Euro, anschließend werden 190 Euro fällig. Nach Zahlung der Gebühr darfst du an beiden Tagen in der Disziplin deiner Wahl (CNF, CWT, CWTB, FIM) starten.

Diese Dokumente benötigst du

Bitte lade auf der Website von AIDA International folgendes Dokument hoch: 

  • ärztliche Bestätigung der Tauchtauglichkeitsuntersuchung (Austellungsdatum nicht älter als ein Jahr, auch wenn das Gültigkeitsdatum länger angegeben ist)
  • Alle weiteren dort geforderten Dokumente kannst du auslassen

Folgende Dokumente werden bei der Registierung vor Ort benötigt:

Liegen die erforderlichen Dokumente bis zum Beginn des Wettkampfes nicht vor, werden entsprechende Teilnehmer ohne Kompensation disqualifiziert.

Ablauf der Competition

Der Wettkampf findet am 30. und 31. August ab 08:00 Uhr statt. Erste OT ist voraussichtlich um 09:00, bei 32 Tauchern ist die letzte OT für 15:10 angesetzt.

Competition-Briefing

Das Competition-Briefing ist für Athletinnen und Athleten verpflichtend. Es findet online über Zoom statt und wird für diejenigen, die nicht teilnehmen können aufgezeichnet. Es wird vorausgesetzt. Vorraussichtlicher Termin für das Online-Briefing ist Donnerstag, 28. August, 18:00.

Announced Performances (AP)

  • Die Announced Performance (AP) und Disziplin für Samstag, den 30. August 2025 muss bis Freitag, 29. August, 16:00 Uhr per Mail an den Veranstalter geschickt werden. 
  • Die AP für Sonntag, den 31. August 2025 wird vor Ort abgefragt und muss bis Samstag, 30. August 2025, 17:00 eingereicht werden.
  • Die Startlisten werden am Vortag spätestens um 19:00 bekanntgegeben.
  • Die AP darf nicht über 5 Meter der persönlichen Bestleistung der Athletinnen und Athleten liegen (wird über Competition Form bestätigt).

Tauchgänge

  • Es wird von flach zu tief zu flach getaucht.
  • Die gewählte Disziplin spielt bei der Reihenfolge keine Rolle.
  • OTs starten voraussichtlich um 09:00 und enden um 15:10
  • Die Registrierung zum Start ist an jedem Tag spätestens 60 Minuten vor dem Tauchgang nötig.
  • Die Warm-Up-Bojen können ab 45 Minuten vor dem Tauchgang genutzt werden

Wertung

Deep 70 ist ein zweitägiger Tiefenwettkampf mit gewichteter Overall-Wertung

Diese Platzierungen werden ausgezeichnet

  • Overall-Ranking weiblich: Platz 1-3
  • Overall-Ranking männlich: Platz 1-3
  • Overall-Newcomer weiblich: Platz 1
  • Overall-Newcomer männlich: Platz 1

Punktesystem und Gewichtung

  • Du hast an beiden Tagen des AIDA DEEP 70 freie Disziplinwahl. Tauchst du eine Disziplin an beiden Tagen, wird nur die bessere Leistung im Overall-Ranking berücksichtigt. Auf deinem Athletenprofil bei AIDA International werden jedoch beide Leistungen gelistet.

Für das Overall-Ranking gelten folgende Gewichtungen:

  • CWT: Faktor 1,0
  • FIM: Faktor 1,0
  • CWTB: Faktor 1,2
  • CNF: Faktor 1,4
Beispiel: 
  • 50 m FIM und 30 m CNF ergeben 50 + 42 = 92 Punkte im Overall-Ranking
  • 50 FIM und 42 FIM ergeben 50 Punkte im Overall-Ranking
  • 70 m FIM und 70 m CWT ergeben 140 Punkte im Overall-Ranking
  • 70 m CNF und 70 m CWTB ergeben 98 + 84 = 182 Punkte (Maximalpunktzahl) 

Dieses Ranking wird nicht auf der Website von AIDA International dargestellt, sondern ist unsere interne Gewichtung für die Preisvergabe. Bei AIDA International werden alle Punkte ohne Faktoren addiert.

Newcomer-Wertung

Um Athletinnen und Athleten den Schritt in den Wettkampfsport zu erleichtern, können sie sich vor Ort als Newcomer registrieren. Dafür dürfen sie zum Zeitpunkt des AIDA DEEP 70 an noch keinem AIDA Tiefenwettkampf teilgenommen haben. 

Newcomer treten dann jedoch nicht in der konventionellen Overall-Wertung auf. Für das Ranking bei AIDA International spielt der Newcomer-Status keine Rolle.

Deep 70: Depth Competition in Germany

30. und 31. August 2025 in Steinbruchsee Wildschütz (Mockrehna, Sachsen)

It’s back: the Depth Competition at Steinbruchsee Wildschütz!
At depths of up to 70 meters, both pros and newcomers will showcase their freediving skills. This competition welcomes athletes of all levels – even if your personal best is 20 meters, it’s a great opportunity to gain experience in depth competitions.

Main judge of the event is Ute Gessmann.

The disciplines offered are CWT, CWTB, FIM, and CNF. Each athlete can choose two disciplines to compete in. There will be an overall ranking as well as a special ranking for newcomers. Please note: different disciplines contribute differently to the final score.

Members of AIDA Germany e.V. or any other AIDA National can now register via the AIDA International event page.

By registering and paying the participation fee, you accept the General Terms and Conditions for Depth Competitions.

Your registration is only valid once you have submitted all required documents to AIDA International and transferred the participation fee to our account.
There are 32 competition slots per day. Registrations will be considered based on the time of full completion.

Registration fees

The early bird fee for AIDA Deep 70 is € 160 if paid by July 12, 2025. After that date, the regular fee of €190 applies.
Once the fee is paid, you are eligible to compete on both days in the discipline(s) of your choice: CNF, CWT, CWTB, or FIM.

You need these documents

On the AIDA International website, please upload the following document:

  • A medical certificate of dive fitness (issued within the last 12 months – even if the validity is stated as longer).

All other documents requested there can be skipped.

The following documents must be presented on-site at registration:

If any of the required documents are missing by the start of the competition, the participant will be disqualified without compensation. If you have any problems understanding the German documents, please feel free to contact us.

Register at AIDA International

Competition schedule

The competition takes place on August 30 and 31, starting at 08:00 each day. The first OT (official top time) is expected at 09:00. With 32 divers per day, the last OT is scheduled for 15:10.

Competition-Briefing

Participation in the competition briefing is mandatory for all athletes.

The briefing will take place online via Zoom and will be recorded for those who are unable to attend live. 

The tentative date for the online briefing is:
Thursday, August 28 at 18:00 (CEST).

Announced Performances (AP)

 Your Announced Performance (AP) and discipline for Saturday, August 30, 2025 must be submitted by email to the organizer no later than Friday, August 29 at 16:00 (CEST). The AP for Sunday, August 31 will be collected on-site and must be submitted by Saturday, August 30 at 17:00 (CEST). Start lists will be published no later than 19:00 on the evening before each competition day.

Please note: Your AP must not exceed your personal best by more than 5 meters (as stated in your AIDA Competition Form).

Dive Order and Timing

The competition will follow a shallow–deep–shallow dive order. The chosen discipline does not affect the starting order.

OTs (Official Top times) are expected to begin at 09:00 and finish by 15:10.

    • Registration for your dive must be completed no later than 60 minutes before your OT.

    • Warm-up buoys will be available starting 45 minutes before your OT.

Ranking

Deep 70 is a two-day depth competition with a weighted overall ranking.

These placements will be awarded

  • Overall Ranking – Female: 1st to 3rd place

  • Overall Ranking – Male: 1st to 3rd place

  • Overall Newcomer – Female: 1st place

  • Overall Newcomer – Male: 1st place

Scoring System & Weighting

You are free to choose your discipline on both days of AIDA Deep 70.
If you choose the same discipline on both days, only your better result will count toward the overall ranking.
However, both results will appear in your athlete profile on the AIDA International website.

The following weighting factors apply to the overall ranking:

  • CWT: factor 1.0

  • FIM: factor 1.0

  • CWTB: factor 1.2

  • CNF: factor 1.4

Example calculations:

  • 50 m FIM + 30 m CNF → 50 + (30 × 1.4) = 92 points

  • 50 m FIM + 42 m FIM → 50 points (only the better dive counts)

  • 70 m FIM + 70 m CWT → 70 + 70 = 140 points

  • 70 m CNF + 70 m CWTB → (70 × 1.4) + (70 × 1.2) = 98 + 84 = 182 points (maximum score)

This ranking is not displayed on the AIDA International website.
There, all results are shown without weighting. The weighted system is used internally for prize distribution.

Newcomer Ranking

To make it easier for athletes to enter the world of competitive freediving, participants may register on-site as a Newcomer, provided they have not competed in any AIDA depth competition prior to AIDA Deep 70.

Newcomers will not appear in the regular overall ranking, but will be included in a separate internal Newcomer ranking.

Please note: The Newcomer status has no effect on the official ranking displayed on the AIDA International website.
